PALMYRA TOWNSHIP- WAYNE COUNTY January 8, 2026 

 

Chairman Steffen call the Special board of supervisor’s meeting to order at 6:45pm. 

 

Roll Call shows Chairman Steffen and Supervisor Kmetz present. 

 

The floor was turned over to Lou Cozza. Lou states that the Module 3 Sewer Component for Mike Kuzmiaks Daycare Property located on Gravity Road in Hawley is completed and needs multiple levels of township approval. Paperwork needs to be signed by the secretary on behalf of the township. Lou states that this has been an absolute nightmare for Mr. Kuzmiak. 

Department of Environmental Protection has been very hard to deal with. 

The Board of Supervisor’s review the Module 3 Plan and Application. This application has complete acknowledgement at every level needed as per DEP And Lou Cozza. 

 

A motion is made by Chairman Steffen to allow Shayla to sign the Module 3 Sewer Component on behalf of the township and issue the townships approval of said completed application, with a second from Supervisor Kmetz and all Supervisors voting yes. 

 

A motion is made by Chairman Steffen to approve Resolution 26-03 for Plan Revision for New Land Development, with a second from Supervisor Kmetz and all supervisors voting yes. 

 

Lou then guides Shayla and the BOS through the entire application and the other copies. All copies are completed at the same time, so nothing is missed. 

 

Motion to adjourn the Special Meeting at 7:02pm by Chairman Steffen with a second from Supervisor Kmetz and all Supervisors voting yes.
